LUCIE ECKERSLEY - DIRECTOR / WRITER / EDITOR
Lucie Eckersley is a Director and Editor based in Plymouth, England. Previously, she has been working with South of Devon Films as a grip and assistant editor on their new film ‘I’m Fine’. She has also been collaborating with fashion designer Milly Devine for her fashion films for upcoming and previous collections. Recently she has been working with musician Paul Armer on some music videos to help him book shows. She is now working on her graduate film Nut Pops and will soon be sending it off to film festivals all around the country.
OLIVIA LENG - WRITER
CONNOR GREEN - WRITER / CINEMATOGRAPHER / SOUND
Connor Green is a Writer and Cinematographer from Plymouth, Devon. Having started off writing short comedy sketches with his friends, he’s moved on to writing and directing short films. He has previously worked on music videos with Paul Armed and fashion films with designer Jade Rogers for her graduate collection that is going to Graduate Fashion Week. Most recently he has helped with numerous grad films, including writing and shooting Nut Pops.
Olivia K. Leng is a Writer and Director based in Plymouth, Devon. Her most recent works, writing Nut Pops and her own short film Where’s my Card which will both be submitted to Film Festivals. Her writing ranging from comedies to hard-hitting dramas. Olivia particularly has a way of telling thought-provoking narratives. She is also no stranger to the camera as she has collaborated with other filmmakers to produce a documentary style promotional video for a local glassblower Cavan Wright, and hopes to make more films like this.
ANNIE DEANE - CINEMATOGRAPHER / GRIP
MATT BAKER - PRODUCTION DESIGN / BTS
Matt Baker is a production designer and filmmaker based in the South West. He specialises in production design, especially in the fantasy genre, but has a wide range of skills that he can put to any genre. He has worked on a range of projects including working on fashion films for fashion graduate Maria Attah-Hassan and third year Milly Devine. He has also worked with South of Devon films on ‘I’m fine’ being a sound recordist and production design. He has been on board with Nutpop’s since the start and is keen to work on the final film.
Annie Deane is a Cinematographer based in Plymouth, Devon. She has always been drawn to the visual side of storytelling and has a naturally good eye for composition and framing, which is best expressed in her films. She has recently been working with South of Devon Films as a grip gaining more experience and confidence on others sets. She has taken on the role of Director/Writer on her new and upcoming graduation film "Cotton Candy".
RACHEL KITCHEN - COSTUME
Rachel Kitchen is a Costumier currently based in Plymouth, England. She has previously worked on projects with Soap Box Theatre, Theatre Royal Plymouth & Milly Devine Fashion carrying out a range of roles from Designing to Making to Dressing. She has recently been working with Anthony Middleton to create miniature costumes for stop-motion animation characters.
ALFIE GOODWIN - SOUND RECORDIST / GRIP / BTS
Alfie Goodwin is a Cinematographer and Camera Operator from Cambridgeshire, now currently based in the South West. His visual style is apparent across a wide variety of films including music videos, short features, documentaries. With a focus on visual storytelling, he looks at how elements of the frame can drive the narrative. As well as how certain compositions use space and lighting in order to draw the audience’s eye. He has recently worked alongside other filmmakers in order to develop a portfolio of work which emphasises his particular visual style whilst also delivering the director’s own creative vision.
CHARLIE SMITH - SOUND RECORDIST / GRIP
Charlie Smith is a Writer & Director from Oxfordshire and currently works in Devon. He has had a love for filmmaking his entire life, from crafting short films on a VHS camcorder to writing and directing his graduation film, ‘Polperro’, serving as the culmination of his time studying at Plymouth College of Art. Charlie is also the head of production company, Elegy Films, in which he works in collaboration with other local filmmakers to create content. His collection of work includes short films Polperro, Overtime and Back to Me. Music videos Mayfly, Easy and Mexican Summer.
